Faster than a traditional hire. After a short discovery call we scope the work, match senior engineers to it, and run interview rounds if you want them before kickoff. We confirm the exact timeline in scoping — it depends on the roles and how well-defined the work is — but it is measured in weeks, not months.
Are you an offshore or nearshore team?
Nearshore. Our teams are based in Barranquilla, Colombia, with full timezone overlap with EST, CST, MST, and PST. We have a US legal entity (ASPSOLS LLC, Miami, FL) for contracts and payments. English is fluent — no offshore friction.
How is 'AI-native' different from other agencies claiming AI?
Three specific things. First, our engineers use AI tools (Claude Code, custom MCP servers, skills) in every commit — not as a demo. Second, we build production AI bots and RAG agents for clients, not just POCs. Third, our Head of R&D leads a dedicated practice (ASP Labs) with measurable metrics on cycle time, coverage, and documentation. If we can't ship it, we don't scope it.
What contract structures do you support?
Three models: Time & Materials (T&M) with weekly reporting, Fixed-price for well-scoped projects, and Retainer for ongoing capacity. We help you choose based on how well the work is defined. Contracts can be signed with our US entity (ASPSOLS LLC) or Colombian entity (ASP Solutions SAS) depending on your preference.
What tech stacks do you work with?
Frontend: React, TypeScript, Next.js, Vue, Angular. Backend: Node.js, Java (Spring), Python. Mobile: React Native. Cloud: AWS and Azure with IaC (Terraform). Databases: PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB. AI: Claude API, custom MCP servers, RAG with vector databases. We're versatile because our senior engineers have depth in multiple stacks — but we don't take projects where we can't guarantee excellence.
Where are you based and where can you invoice from?
Two legal entities. In the US: ASPSOLS LLC, based in Miami, FL — issues invoices in USD, accepts wire transfers and ACH. In Colombia: ASP Solutions SAS, based in Barranquilla — issues invoices in COP or USD, handles local tax compliance. This lets clients pick the entity that fits their procurement process. Both entities share the same technical team.
Do you sign NDAs and handle sensitive data?
Yes. Standard NDA on file, or we sign yours. Security audits are included in every engagement (not billed separately). We work with government entities, financial institutions, and legal firms — categories that require compliance from day one. If you need SOC2 attestation, penetration testing, or specific compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, Colombian data protection Ley 1581), tell us in scoping.
Can I meet the actual engineers before signing?
Yes, and we encourage it. During the team-match phase, before kickoff, you interview the proposed senior engineers. If any don't fit, we swap them at no cost. What you see in interviews is what shows up in your Slack — we don't do bait & switch.
